Greetings and welcome.
Welcome to my website, which I consider to be the portal to Aeternalis.
What is Aeternalis?
Well, Aeternalis is the name I chose for my fictional world. It is where most of my stories are set, although, technically, all of them occur in Aeternalis. But they will not all overtly show this.
Aeternalis is my name for the universe. The Multiverse. It is the name I chose to identify the world we live in, which in turn is within a world we are not aware of.
The idea of the multiverse is not new. Scientists speculate that there could be an infinite number of universes.
One for each possibility; every different outcome down to the most minute action. Should I scratch that itch or let it go? If I do, the next thing that happens may be different than if I do not. The Butterfly Effect in a way.
Other scientists think there are numerous other dimensions, beyond the three we experience. These dimension we can't really conceive of because of the limited scope of our natural senses, but it is fun to consider and very well may be true.
Some people claim we live in a simulation. A holographic universe.
I understand the use of that analogy. But I think it confuses people.
The science behind the suggestion of a simulation or a hologram is that at the quantum level of matter we know that there is no matter. Matter as we experience it is something of an illusion itself. Even the chair you sit on is mostly empty space.
That’s a fact.
Our known universe is between 94 and 98% unknown. You’ve heard of dark matter and dark energy? Well that’s what we think comprises it. We just can see it, sense it, measure it. We only know of its existence because of the effect it has on other things. Light bends around planets thanks to dark matter. Without that observation we’d probably still think space, as I was taught when a child, is empty.
Of course, knowing the universe is not empty, that we are more like fish in water, changes much about how we perceive our world, the things we believe in, and the way we choose to conduct our lives.
In Aeternalis, almost anything is possible, so long as “anything” complies with the rules of Aeternalis.
Aeternalis is liberating. So much of the limited beliefs that are propagated and maintained on Earth have no merit in a universe with no end; which is full of mysterious stuff; and within which the Earth-derived vision of a God or Creator has no place.
The holographic comparison is such because matter does not exist without an observer. When observed, measured, anticipated, thought about, energy transforms to matter. Were the universe to be void of Observers, me and you, then there may not be anything worth observing.
So people get very excited when they think of a holographic universe, but they are often excited for the wrong reason.
Holographic in this matter is not the same as the hologram that put Michael Jackson onstage post-mortem.
It simply means that matter is not real. Where we live is an illusion. Our journey’s as citizens of the universe, born on Earth, is not the standard-bearer for terrestrial beings everywhere.
And the idea of death in the “ashes to ashes, dust to dust” way, is probably wrong.
Aeternalis is all possibility.
Aeternalis is The Way to life you desire.
Aeternalis is the holographic multiverse; a multiverse designed to serve you any way you choose to let it.
Aeternalis is your reality, and my imagination, and whether we like it or not, we are not only sharing it during this lifetime, we may have been doing so for millennia.
And if I am correct, we might be doing so again and again, for millennia to come, until we get it right.
So please join me in Aeternalis. There are many exciting journey’s awaiting us.
Let’s go.
This is going to be great.
Welcome to Aeternalis.
